This poem has been following me around the last few days. . .
Here on this Sabbath Journey at this place on the path we practice pause and deep surrender to what is. . . and then what is “under” that and still deeper yet into that vast Aquifer, until we feel the wetness on the body and the cool water on the tongue as we gently touch at first and then swim in that perennial stream of LOVE Then bringing the refreshment to the surface of things- relationships, vision and co-creation We empty our canteen the water slips through open reaching fingers the tongue grows parched in a dry and weary land Once again in the pause There is a remembering Of the Way to the Source for which we thirst and to which we return for refreshment to fill our canteens for the sharing.
