       OVERVIEW

Questions are prompts or stirrings to begin a Quest, a Journey,
not so much for answers, but toward a fresh sense of aliveness.

The poet Hafiz wisely noted:  “This place where you are right now, God circled on a map for you.”
It helps to know where you are on the journey so you can be present to the gifts and challenges of that "place."
  • Do you sometimes wonder which path is the way forward and who will walk with you as an ally on the journey?   Together, we will move towards a deeper sense of clarity and belonging.
  • As allies, we will nurture relationships of trust, hear the wisdom of our experiences and surface new insights, which can light more creative ways forward with courage and hope fueling us.
  • Do you sometimes wonder, "Is there a bigger story (a Universal story) in which our current reality makes more sense?" Our invitation is to open up to a practice of dipping into the well of the Sacred, a unique experience for each one of us, and bring our sacred gifts back into our world.
  • Have you asked yourself, "Can I really make a difference given the scope of challenges we face on our planet and in our lives?"   Collectively, we will help each other connect more fully to each one's unique purpose in ways that enliven us and benefit all.

What is The Journey all about?

Think of The Journey as a Field Guide or a Compass, an orienting tool to find direction and clarity during times of disruption or change.
The Journey--including its thresholds, twists and turns--provides a wise roadmap and all the travel tips you will need to unearth a deep sense of direction, even when you are most upended by the winds of change or uncertainty.

Sources of disruption can vary greatly.  Change may originate from within, or may emerge externally from in personal relationships or work setting.  Increasingly, our most challenging disruptors are originating from cultural uncertainty, fast-paced social change, and the unsettling planetary environmental shifts we are witnessing around us.

The Journey guides individual, groups, communities and organizations toward discovery and resolution:
What are my unique challenges and gifts?  How can I bring them forward to grow and to give back?
Where are my allies?  Where will I build the alliances who will assist?  Where do I feel “blessed”?  Where might I need help?  Where might I offer help?  What are we called to do together?

Here's a summary of The Journey.  Don't be concerned if you don't understand it.  Once you begin it will unfold within the uniqueness of your life.  As it is said "It is better caught than taught."  Rilke's wisdom will serve us all well as pilgrims on an adventure of a lifetime.
“Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.”
The Journey begins where you are right now, "Your Story".  Rooted and grounded in your story you are invited to cross a threshold of confidence and self-worth leading to a "Field of Openness".  Practicing opening mind and heart you will encounter another threshold where you will deepen your trust and capacity to surrender, leading  to an experience of a bigger vision or what some mighty call a "Sacred" vision from which you are propelled across a threshold of incompleteness toward your "Destiny".  Notice that there are "Thresholds" between each moment on the journey.  Thresholds are times of slowing down, reassessing and leaning on allies, and, most importantly, taking some deep breaths.

Four Movements On Your Journey

Sharing Your Story

We'll help shape a safe container or conversational "holding place" for your story to be heard.  This is the beginning of the Journey toward your Destiny.  Through in-person retreats and coaching, as well as in a virtual space, we will experience the power of your story and of all our stories.
The First Threshold:  Love - Self Worth & Confidence

Opening to the Emerging Future

On this journey, we will be opening to the emerging future. Through the practices of opening the mind and heart, as well as  developing an increased capacity to listen, you, and we, will begin to lean into the potential of the future that is emerging.
The Second Threshold: Held - Trust "Taking the Leap"

Encountering the Sacred - A Bigger Vision

What ever language you use to describe the Sacred: God; Reality; The Universe Story; Love, we will practice the gift of pause to open wide to the power of transformation, knowing each of our lives will never be the same.
The Third Threshold: Sent - Even though it feels incomplete

Fulfilling Destiny

The journey has a destination or destiny.  In this movement toward your particular context, you will discover gifts or balm, insights that you are called to bring into your world.  Your life will have a new sense of purpose and meaning.
The Forth Threshold: Return - Renewed to begin again
