Uganda Itinerary
February 13 - 27

 Remember TIA (This Is Africa) so we'll be open to adjusting our itinerary as needed.
There will be lots of space for creativity and reflection.

Thursday - Friday 

Depart Newark at 7:00PM (Thursday, 2/13)
Arrive at Entebbe at 10:50PM (Friday 2/14)
​(Uganda is 7 hours ahead of EST)
Retire to the Entebbe Guest House. (20 Minutes from airport)

Saturday (2/15)
Breakfast at the guest house
Kampala city tour Lunch at Cafe´ Java
Return to Entebbe-dinner at Faze 3 Restaurant Entebbe on the shore of Lake Victoria.

Breakfast at Cafe´ Java Entebbe
Visit Matugga Girl's Home. (about 18 miles outside Kampala)
Join Community for Worship
Begin set-up for dental work.
Evening Ndere Cultural Center. (dinner included)

Morning: Travel about 1.5 hours to the Gateway Youth Ranch.
Set-up for Dental work (Meet with Den-Techs)
We'll stay at the African Hospitality Institute (AHI) guest house which is just a few miles from the Ranch (AKA Boys' Home)
Dinner and relax at the AHI guest house.

Thursday (2/20)
Breakfast at AHI guest house
We'll spend the day with the staff and boys at the Gatway Youth Ranch.
Dental Work
Dinner and relax at the AHI guest house.

Breakfast at AHI guest house
We'll spend the day with the staff and boys at the Gatway Youth Ranch.
Dental Work
Dinner and relax at the AHI guest house.

Saturday (2/22)
Breakfast at AHI guest house
Travel to 
Murchison falls National Park- staying at Murchison River Lodge
Relax in the Afternoon
Dinner at the Lodge

SUNDAY (2/23)
All Meals at the Lodge
Morning game drive.
Lunch at Paraa Safari Lodge on Nile
PILGRIMAGE THEME: ENGAGING THE MORE THAN HUMAN WORLD 

Monday (2/24)
Nile Cruise and Hike at Merchison Falls (optional)
Evening game drive.
All Meals at the Lodge,

PILGRIMAGE THEME: DISCERNMENT AND CO-CREATION

​Tuesday (2/25)
Return to Kampala (about 5 hour drive)
That evening we'll stay at Kolping Kampala Hotel.

Wednesday (2/26)
Entebbe Airport for Flight Home
Options:  

Visit Kisenyi (Kampala slum) feeding program.
Visit Equator
